01

Initial discovery call

Initial discovery call: Once we have received the necessary information relating to your project, we will be in touch within 24 hours to schedule a call. This is a no commitment opportunity to discuss your project and decide if we are a good fit for each other.

02

Site meeting and surveys

We will finish the call with a clear understanding of what is needed to tackle your site and any unique complexities. Organising the correct surveys is key to ensure we can quote accurately and specify the appropriate soils and plants. These could include soil testing, PH testing, percolation and drainage tests and potentially hydrological surveys.

03

Comprehensive quotation

Once the surveys are in and you have made your decision on which plants you would like we can then produce a detailed, itemised quotation to deliver the works discussed. We present our quotes in person to ensure everything has been fully understood and you know exactly what is included.

04

Ground preparation and planting

Once everything has been decided and plants ordered, it is time to ensure the ground is suitable. This could be decompaction and enrichment of your existing soils or importing of new soils. Once planted we will often install an irrigation system for the new plants to establish with and thoroughly mulch over.

05

Hand over

Whether you are going to care for the plants yourself or would rather
commission our maintenance team, we will ensure you are armed with all the necessary information and know exactly what to look out for as your plants establish and develop.

Horticulture

Profesional horticulture. The right plants, in the right places with the right care.

Consultancy & surveying

A site visit and basic surveying is vital when planning new planting. Whether it is revamping an existing bed or a full garden project including new trees, perennials, annuals etc. we want to ensure the guess work is removed. To protect your own investment and to give the plants the best chance we need to understand aspects, soil types, drainage, sub soil build ups. Nothing complicated, but all crucial.

Tailored service

Every new horticulture project is quoted and planned independently and specifically. Why? Because every garden is different. This means the same plants in different gardens could react differently.

Training

Do you want to take on your own garden care? Or want advice on how to prune what and when? We offer on site training for both the general public and other industry professionals to ensure you feel confident and competent in your own garden.

Chelsea Flower Show

Hardwood Landcsapes at the Chelsea Flower Show

The biggest test on our industry's biggest stage.
We have proudly been the youngest company building at Chelsea Flower Show for the last 2 years. The challenges and tests to our business have made our teams even stronger. Working 13 hour days, 7 days a week, staying away from families and loved ones with nowhere to hide if things go wrong...
However, it's all worth it when you stand back and see what you and your team are capable of creating under such pressure. It is also an incredible opportunity to mix with the world's best contractors and designers.
There is certainly a reason most couldn't do it.

Every time we pull up to our house we're amazed at what the Hardwood Team accomplished in one day. Since they left so many flowers have appeared. We can't put into words how pleased we are.

The Hardwood Team has done an incredible job on our garden — clearing, weeding and advising. Professional at all times and a pleasure to work with.

They actively listened to my ideas and added their wisdom. Their attitude was consistently cheerful and positive. Worked non-stop and left the area spotlessly clean and tidy. A fantastic experience.
